Time passes and kids grow up. The days of dress ups and tree forts give way to college applications and job interviews.

Life is beautiful, but it doesn't stop or even slow down for anyone, no matter how much we may want it to.

I'm a mom of four daughters who are growing up way faster than I like. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have thousands of pictures of their growing-up years. I have lots of candids that I took spur of the moment, but also lots of regular photo sessions where we made an event out of the process, where we intentionally created images that reflected where we were as a family at the time. Those images are more priceless because they can't be relived.

I want your family session to be fun, not a stuffy, sit-still kind of torture. I want your kids to be kids. I want to give them time to run and play and jump in mud puddles if that's what they love. And I want to create memorable images that make you think, "that is so us" when you see them adorn the walls of your home.
